Opal serves as the Director of Development for both Million Kids and Rapha House International. As a retired business executive in International Marketing, Opal understands that to win the battle to rescue and support victims of trafficking requires the creative resources of an entire community.
Fighting against perpetrators of child trafficking is not for lightweights. his battle requires the expertise and resources of everyone in the community. Whether it is in Cambodia, Thailand or right here in our own backyard in Riverside, California, everyone must come together to protect our young people and vulnerable persons against perpetrators.
Opal meets with business executives, city and county officials, community action groups and concerned individuals to explore ways that they can strengthen the fight against trafficking in their community. From exploring safe haven for a teenage victim who has been exploited through prostitution to working with corporations that employee thousands of laborers, Opal uses her background and experience to find creative solutions to stop trafficking.
If your organization, business or church would like to learn more about trafficking in your community, contact us from our website and request that Opal Singleton or another Million Kids representative arrange an informative presentation about how to recognize and end trafficking in our region.
