It seems with all the complexities in life, God is asking us to return to the basics. Belief in a power bigger than ourselves. Belief in our self worth. Belief in our children and our grandchildren, our spouses, partners and family. Finding the good in others.
After many years of combating trafficking and social media exploitation, we know that the four strongest words on earth to keep our young people safe is "I Believe in YOU!".
The gallery is designed to share inspiring images, a return to the basics, motivating thought processes, old fashioned values, and access to beautiful artistic treasures that you may want to purchase for yourself or give to others to let them know you believe in them. We are artists fighting against the exploitation of our young people.
We hope you will enjoy this Gallery and share it with others.
Opal Singleton has been experimenting with glass creations since 2001. Many of her pieces were sold in galleries between 2001 and 2012 and much of the proceeds were used to support the work of Million Kids. Opal's first husband, Del Singleton, encouraged her love of glass until he passed away in 2017 as a result of complications from kidney cancer. In 2019, Opal was blessed to be married to Dr. Ken Hendershot, who created two glass studio areas for Opal to once again pursue her passion for creating with glass.
Nancy Probizanski is an exceptionally talented artist and jewelry designer that cares deeply about kids and grandkids and how to prepare them to live in a world of advanced technology and social media. Nancy and Opal began to discuss how she could use her creations to support the work of keeping kids safe from predators. Nancy's beautiful designs are one of a kind, hand made with precision and care. They are not available in retail stores and anyone who is fortunate enough to acquire one of her pieces will cherish it forever and know they have contributed to supporting the work of Million Kids.
I am an Air Force Veteran of 22 years. I'm a grandma, a mom of two amazing children, the wife of a wonderful husband, and I work full time.
I have been creating Fused Glass Art for over 10 years. I have always loved glass. I have glass from all over the world including Italy, Israel, Ireland, Germany, Japan, etc. I love the way it can be manipulated and changed and if I don’t like something I create I can smash it and create something new. I’ve always loved arts and crafts and have taken classes in everything from Ikebana to framing and played around with clay to bead making, but when I found glass I fell in love. When you see fused glass in person I know you will too. Each piece is handmade by me in my home studio in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I hope you love my handcrafted Fused Glass Art as much as I love creating it.
Make a difference in someone's life. The words "I BELIEVE IN YOU" or some of the most powerful words we can tell someone. Let the children in your life know you believe in them by giving them a Million Kids challenge coin.
