Opal has educated multiple hundreds of thousands of government and individual leaders as the keynote speaker, general presentations and workshop presenter on subjects of labor trafficking, foreign national trafficking, gang trafficking, child sex trafficking, sextortion, child pornography and social media exploitation. Opal has completed tens of thousands of hours of extensive research over the past fifteen years on those subjects.
Opal is the author of "Seduced: The Grooming of America’s Teenagers" (2015) and "Societal Shift: A World Without Borders... A Home Without Walls" (2019). She often appears on television and radio talk shows across the United States.
Opal is an Instructor at USC Price Safe Communities Institute and former co-instructor at the USC School of Social Work for the Los Angeles Police Department LEAD program.
She is an instructor at Los Angeles Fire Leadership Training Academy.
Opal hosts a radio show on KTIE 590 AM called “Exploited: Crimes and Technology” every Saturday at 3:00pm throughout Southern California. She also presents a weekly podcast called “Exploited: Crimes against Humanity”.

Lynda Bergh Herring, LJB Investigations, is dedicated to safeguarding children by providing comprehensive education and conducting thorough investigations to combat the danger posed by predators online and in the real world. Through awareness, advocacy and actionable information, Lynda strives to create a safer environment where children are able to thrive free from harm.
Lynda’s Background:
- 42 years experience working as a private investigator; conducting investigations on behalf of attorneys, insurance companies, corporations, small businesses, public entities, and private parties, with a focus on protecting children and the elderly. Owner / Qualified Manager of LJB Investigations since June 1996.
- Possesses specialized training in child exploitation prevention, digital forensics and online research to uncover hidden activities, particularly related to social media threats and exploitation of children; conducting interviews and eliciting information from witnesses and victims of exploitation, especially children and the elderly; asset searches, due diligence, and accident reconstruction.
- Contributing author to Advanced Private Investigation, a Manual of Advanced Investigative Skills (published 4/2011)
- Appointed Ms. Ambassador FoRe! Children's Safety by FoRe! International (August 2018) for work in the fight against trafficking of children.
- Author of "Your Amazing Itty Bitty Keep Your Children Safe Book", published November 2024, a mini-manual providing 15 key steps to educating and protecting children from online predators, traffickers, and sextortion.

Deena Murray, CMP believes strongly in protecting children. It has been her life mission going back to when she was a teen and volunteered at a safe house. Deena Murray, CMP believes strongly in protecting children. It has been her life mission going back to when she was a teen and volunteered at a safe house. Her work with Million Kids has showed her how great the need is and only strengthened her resolve to do what she can, wherever she can. Deena believes that we can safeguard the vulnerable through bringing as much awareness as possible.
Deena’s Background:
- Over fifteen years as a foster parent to 20+ kids and an adoptive parent to twelve kids who are all now adults. With her husband the goal was to keep siblings together if possible and provide a safe home that was filled with love, fun and laughter. The two together homeschooled their adopted children and took time to travel around the U.S. to give the kids opportunities to experience other places and learn and grow.
- Also with her husband, they youth pastored for a number of years at a Southern California church working primarily with high school students. They led retreats and camps for teens and were actively involved in being there for the kids.
- Twenty-five years in the meeting and event planning world. Deena is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) who has planned and executed programs around the globe for various clients and corporations and at one point owned her own planning company. She currently works for a planning company out of Southern California.
- Five years working with Million Kids supporting the team with operations, fundraising, website design, marketing, analysis and research, writing press releases, and doing whatever is needed. This has been eye-opening in seeing what is going on all around us and on a global scale.
- Professional speaker who traveled around the U.S. speaking to groups, and a writer who has had articles published in magazines, newspapers and books.
